Advisory Service

The h_da student advisory service is part of the Student Service Center: This way, all your questions and concerns concerning your studies can be answered and dealt with in a bundled manner.

Offers from the student advisory service:

  • Information on the offered courses and study prerequisites
  • Advice and support in choosing a course of study
  • Information and advice for international prospective students and refugees
  • Information on financing options during your studies
  • Participation in education fairs such as hobit* (university and career information days in Darmstadt)
  • Regular events on study orientation:
    • Match_day* – The big info day at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences
    • Passt das? – Lectures and advice on the choice of studies
    • Workshops to analyse strengths and abilities and help with the decision-making process
  • Possibilities to get to know the h_da "from the inside", e.g. within the framework of the
    match_day* or individually agreed appointments for groups
  • Participation in information events at schools and education fairs
  • Denkfabrik*– All about people and technology (for pupils from 10th grade onwards)
