Re-registration & withdrawal

Re-registration

Students are required to re-register before each semester and pay the tuition fee for that semester. Payment should be made by bank transfer, which will take a few days to process and show up in the system. As soon as your payment has been received, you will be automatically re-registered. Please note that you must also indicate your matriculation number when making your payment. The SSC will send a printed receipt to your address, so please make sure that your address is updated in the h_da-system before you make your payment. Late or incomplete payments will result in automatic disenrollment.

Withdrawal (disenrollment)

There are different ways to withdraw from the Hochschule Darmstadt. The earliest possible withdrawal is at the beginning of the semester; the latest is on the last day of the designated withdrawal period for the current semester. You can request a withdrawal for the same day or future specified date within the current semester. If you miss the designated withdrawal period for the current semester you can still request a withdrawal, but additional charges will apply. Graduates are automatically disenrolled at the end of their final semester. If you need a certificate of disenrollment/withdrawal you can get this at the SSC.
