Heike Simon

Painting is her passion; here she is keen to experiment and open for new ideas and suggestions. Heike Simon loves animals - in particular cats, dogs and horses which she also depicts in her paintings. However, many of her pictures also show flowers, rainbows and houses.

Ravi Arora

Doris Schwager

Born in 1953, has been living in Villa Luce since 1987, founding member of the arts forum.

Her merry, colourful pictures show imaginative own creations, but also interpret famous painters such as Picasso, Hundertwasser and Macke. The gaudy cities have become a sort of Doris Schwager trademark. She has developed her very own visual language which can be recognised by a broad range of recurring motifs and symbols.

Gerd Grünhagen

Born in 1957, has been living in Villa Luce since 1978, founding member of the arts forum.

His colourful pictures have very special dynamics and an unusual layout. At present, his work focuses on skyscrapers and towers which are abstracted in powerful strokes and skilfully depicted by means of intense colour compositions. The painting days in the university's tower block were an outstanding experience for him.

Beate Anaskewitz

Beate Anaskewitz handles her material in a careful und sensitive way and sometimes is amazed herself by her impressive results. Most of her motifs are chosen on the spur of the moment, but she is also happy to have other members of the artists' group inspire her.
